BLUMKINE
WHO WE ARE
BLUMKINE is a fashion house that perpetuates the French savoir-faire of Couture, while lovingly shaking it up.
The result of thoughtful and audacious design, each piece unites charm, comfort and the idea of uniqueness.
The pieces create an elegant and joyful wardrobe, thanks to the use of precious and comfortable fabrics in tranquil hues. They harmonize from one season to the next, like the continuation of a reverie.
The House was founded by Théodora Blumkine in 2016 in Paris.

THE SKILL AND STYLE
Sketches, charts, toiles, fittings, pattern making, corrections, prototypes, finishing details
WHAT WE DO
The development of each piece in the collection is meticulous, takes time, and requires a multitude of skills.
First of all, the well-worn.
The creative idea is fueled by aspects of comfort and elegance.
Next comes the three-dimensional development: like tightrope walkers, it is a matter of finding the meeting point between imagination and technical skill.
Then comes the manufacturing process, with careful attention to the construction details that will embrace the skin, and respect for the raw materials.
Our finishes are inspired by Haute Couture: interior piping, hand stitching, invisible hems, thread embroidery... Finally, the microscopic. The deliberate and delicate interweaving of threads that makes up the fabric.
All our pieces are designed, developed and manufactured in Paris.
THE SKIN
Choice of materials, yarn count, suppleness, softness, technological contribution
OUR CARE
Skin sciences would say that everything happens inside, or even inside the inside.
The cloth placed against the skin must protect it, accompany it with the utmost softness.
All the fabrics used in the BLUMKINE collections are meticulously selected. They are exquisitely beautiful and visibly soft. They come from French, Japanese, and Italian mills dedicated to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Most of these mills, over a century old, perpetuate their traditions by reinventing themselves each season.
The choice of fabrics for a collection is revealed spontaneously, simultaneously with the first drafts of the cut. They are presented to each other as if for a wedding, groping until love at first sight.
